How long does a Roomba take to clean a room?

Well, this entirely depends on the size and carpet area of your room. Moreover, the amount of cleaning required in the room also proves to be a major factor in deciding the time. On average, a Roomba may take between 20 and 30 minutes to clean your room.

From where can I buy a Roomba? Where is it available?

As of now, you may not find the device on any offline store. You can buy a new iRobot Roomba vacuum from the iRobot website and some online stores, such as Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital. 

Do I need to recharge my Roomba every time I wish to clean?

No. All Roomba models come with a self-charging feature, which means that you don’t have to go through the fuss of charging your device after every cleaning cycle. When a Roomba’s battery is about to finish, it returns to its Home Station to dock and recharge its batteries. 

What if the Roomba’s battery drains in the middle of the cleaning task?

If your Roomba’s battery is about to drain completely in the middle of the cleaning task, it will return to its Home Station. Once the battery charges, it will resume its cleaning task from where it left earlier. That means, no cleaning task is left unfinished by the iRobot Roomba vacuum. 

Does my Roomba need supervision?

No, your Roomba does not need any kind of supervision. You can set it up and leave the room. Just press the CLEAN button and let your Roomba take up the cleaning task. However, some Roomba models come with a Virtual Wall Lighthouse feature which contains your device in one room until it is vacuumed completely. Once the room is cleaned and vacuumed, this feature directs your Roomba to clean another room.

Will my Roomba fall down the stairs?

No. Your Roomba will never fall down the stairs as it automatically senses stairs and turns away from them. However, if the rooms to be cleaned has an attached balcony, you should use a physical barrier to prevent your robot from going to the balcony. That way, you can always ensure safe operation.

Does Roomba vacuum clean corners and along the walls?

Yes. Your Roomba reaches most corners and tough-to-reach places with the help of a spinning side brush. The spinning side brush cleans next to walls and corners in the best way possible. 

Can I run my Roomba several times a day?

Yes, you can operate your Roomba vacuum several times a day by manually pressing the CLEAN button at the desired time. However, you can schedule your device to clean once per day and up to seven times per week through the iRobot Home app. 

How often should I replace the filters and brushes of my Roomba?

As per the instructions set forth by iRobot, you should replace your Roomba’s side brushes every two months. The filters should be replaced between two to four months. It all depends on the number of cleaning jobs and the amount of dirt in your house. However, you should always clean the filter and brushes of your Roomba in order to keep it in a healthy state.
